Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, mix fresh cottage cheese (chenna) and sugar until well combined.
  • STEP 2.Add cardamom powder and mix well.
  • STEP 3.Grease a steaming dish and transfer the mixture into it.
  • STEP 4.Steam for about 15-20 minutes until the sondesh is set.
  • STEP 5.Remove from the steamer and allow it to cool.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with chopped nuts and saffron strands.
  • STEP 7.Cut into desired shapes and serve.

Storage and Serving
