  • 0.17 cup Sugar
  • 0.08 teaspoon Cardamom Powder
  • 0.17 teaspoon Rose Water

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl, crumble the fresh cottage cheese (chhena) and add sugar to it.
  • STEP 2.Mix well until the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture becomes smooth.
  • STEP 3.Add cardamom powder and rose water to the mixture and mix again.
  • STEP 4.Grease a steaming dish with ghee and transfer the mixture into it.
  • STEP 5.Cover the dish with a lid and steam for about 15-20 minutes.
  • STEP 6.Once done, remove from heat and let it cool completely.
  • STEP 7.Cut the steamed Sandesh into desired shapes and serve.
  • STEP 8.Bhapa Sondesh can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
