  • 1/2 tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon Paprika
  • 0.13 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.06 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1/4 can Diced Tomatoes
  • 1/4 can Tomato Sauce
  • 1/4 can Kidney Beans, Drained And Rinsed
  • 1 cup Frito Corn Chips
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • as per your need Chopped Green Onions, For Garnish
  • as required Sour Cream, For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • STEP 2.In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • STEP 3.Add the onions and garlic to the skillet and cook until the onions are translucent.
  • STEP 4.Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and kidney beans to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 6.In a 9x13-inch baking dish, layer half of the Frito® corn chips. Top with half of the chili mixture and half of the shredded cheese.
  • STEP 7.Repeat the layers with the remaining Frito® corn chips, chili mixture, and shredded cheese.
  • STEP 8.Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • STEP 9.Serve the Frito® Pie hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sour cream, if desired.
