Besan Suji Laddu is the most loved Indian sweet during any festive gathering or occasion. Make these rich and tasty laddus filled with nuts at home with easy and quick recipe.The taste of it is similar to the besan laddu but with some texture. That comes from the suji. Here I have added cashews and raisins in the laddu. If you want to make it plain, you can skip it too.

Ingredients for Besan Suji Ladoo Recipe

  • 0.30 cup semolina (suji)
  • 0.30 cup besan (gram flour)
  • 1 tbsp Ghee (clarified butter)
  • 0.60 As Required For Ganishing water as per required
  • 2.40 pieces no. Chopped almonds
  • 1.60 pieces no. Chopped cashew nuts
  • 1.60 pieces no. Chopped pistachio
  • 1/5 tbsp chopped Kismis
  • 0.40 tbsp ghee for roasted dry fruits
  • 1/5 As Required For Ganishing Oil for deep frying as per required
  • 0.30 cup Sugar
  • 1/20 cup water
  • 1/10 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1.60 pieces Almond pieces as per required for Garnishing

Directions: Besan Suji Ladoo Recipe

  • STEP 1.1️⃣ First add semolina in a bowl, add gram flour and ghee and mix well. Add a ghee to the flour and add a little water to make a little stiff flour.
  • STEP 2.2️⃣ Now prepare a few small muthiya of dough by hand and place it on the side.
  • STEP 3.3️⃣Now heat 2 tablespoons ghee in a pan and roast the almonds, cashews and kishmis on low heat gas till they turn pink.
  • STEP 4.4️⃣ Now in the same pan add oil as required, heat it and fry it on low flame of gas till a muthiya of golden color comes. Now let this first cool down.
  • STEP 5.5️⃣ Now add sugar and water in a pan, melt the sugar over medium heat and boil till the syrup becomes a little sticky. (Syrup is not to be made of a single string, only syrup is to be made as it becomes sticky)
  • STEP 6.6️⃣ Now cut the chilled muthiya into small pieces and take it in a mixer jar and grind it. Now pour this mixture into a bowl.
  • STEP 7.7️⃣ Then add cardamom powder, roasted dry fruit and pistachio pieces to this mixture and mix everything well. Now add a little bit of warm hot syrup to the mixture and make small round laddu.
  • STEP 8.8️⃣ Now our besan soji laddu is ready to serve. Garnish this laddu with a slice of almond on top. This pampering can be stored outside for 15 days and in the fridge for 1 to 1.5 months.
