STEP 1.In a bowl take 2 cups of besan(chickpea flour).
in it add 2 tbsp ghee, to form a crumbly texture mix besan & ghee with finger tips. Rest mixture for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes add 2 tbsp of warm milk and repeat the same technique and again reset for 15 minutes. Next in a saucepan or kadi add chickpea (besan) mixture and roast it on medium flame until it is light brown in color and nice roasted besan (chickpea flour) aroma comes, transfer roasted mixture to a plate. In the same kadi, cook sugar syrup. Take 1 cup sugar & ½ cup water and cook it until sugar syrup forms 1 thread texture, as soon as sugar syrup is ready add roasted besan (chickpea flour) in it & combine the mix to form burfi and also add ½ amount of chopped almond and grounded green cardamom powder in it. Set besan mixture on a plate & cut burfi pieces when the mixture is warm. Enjoy this besan (chickpea) burfi at each festival.
