This is my grilled version of puran poli with a healthy twist. I have included grated beetroot along with channa dal and used damerera sugar to make it more healthy. The soaked channa dal is cooked, made into paste and further cooked along with the grated beetroot with an addition of damerera sugar to get a delicious stuffing for the poli. The prepared sweet balls is stuffed in a wheat flour dough, flatted and grilled to get a guilt free sweet.
