1 Cup milk (at room temp)
1/2 Teaspoon cardamom powder
3 Teaspoon Ghee - for frying
1 Teaspoon cashews (kaju) & raisins (optional)
Directions: Beetroot Halwa Recipe
STEP 1.Heat vessel and add ghee . Fry cashews & kismiss and transfer to plate.
STEP 2.In same vessel add grated beetroot & milk . Cook till beetroot becomes soft .
STEP 3.Once beetroot becomes tender add sugar and khoya.
STEP 4.Once sugar added it starts to release water all the sides. Cook till water drains completely.
STEP 5.Once water drains add cardamom powder and 2-3 teaspoons ghee.
STEP 6.Turn off the flame and garnish with cashews & kismiss
