  • 200 gram Beef fillet
  • 150 gram Broccoli
  • 3 No.s Garlic Cloves
  • 5 gram Ginger
  • 1 No.s Onion
  • 2 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Light soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coarse Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 3 teaspoon Cornflour
  • 50 milliliter Water
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Wine

Directions: Beef And Broccoli In Oyster Sauce Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1 in a large mixing bowl place 200 gm beef fillet cut into thin slices. Add 2 tsp cornflour, 1 tbsp rice wine and mix well to evenly coat the beef. Leave to marinate for 10 minutes.

  • STEP 2.2 in a small bowl combine 3 tsp cornflour with 50 ml water and mix to get a smooth paste.

  • STEP 3.3 in a wok heat 1 tbsp oil on high heat, add marinated beef and stir fry fro 2 minutes.

  • STEP 4.4 then remove and keep aside.

step 5

  • STEP 5.5 heat another 1 tbsp oil in the same wok,add 1 small onion cut into bite size pieces, 150 gm broccoli cut into bite size pieces and stir fry for 30 seconds.

  • STEP 6.6 then add 2 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tsp light soy sauce, 1 tsp sugar, 3 cloves finely chopped garlic, 5 gm finely chopped ginger, ½ tsp coarsely ground black pepper and stir fry for 1 minute.

  • STEP 7.7 then add 50 ml water and bring to a boil.

  • STEP 8.8 next add the prepared cornflour and water mixture and bring to a boil again.

step 9

  • STEP 9.9 add the fried beef slices back to the wok and stir fry for 1 minute. Check for salt and adjust accordingly. Turn off the heat.

step 10

  • STEP 10.10 transfer to a dish and serve hot.
