Directions: Barbecued Gochujang Pork Ribs Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, mix together gochujang paste, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to make the marinade.
  • STEP 2.Place the pork ribs in a large ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the ribs. Let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
  • STEP 3.Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the ribs from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.
  • STEP 4.Grill the ribs for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice charred crust.
  • STEP 5.Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve the ribs hot with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!

Cooking Tips

  • For extra flavor, you can add a splash of rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar to the marinade.
  • If you don't have a grill, you can also cook the ribs in the oven. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the ribs for about 1.5-2 hours, or until they are tender and cooked through.
  • To make the ribs more tender, you can wrap them in foil and let them rest for 10-15 minutes after grilling.

Storage and Serving

  • Leftover ribs can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat the ribs, you can either grill them again for a few minutes or heat them in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until warmed through.
  • Serve the ribs with steamed rice, kimchi, and pickled vegetables for a complete Korean meal.
