Ingredients for Banana flower prawn paturi Recipe

  • 50 g Big banana flower cleaned and chopped
  • 1/4 Cup prawns
  • 1/2 Cups banana flower chopped
  • 1/4 Cup fresh grated coconut
  • 1 Pieces Green chillies
  • 1 Tbsp mustard oil
  • 1/4 Tbsp Turmeric powder
  • To Taste salt
  • As Required Green chillies
  • 1.50 Pieces banana leaves

Directions: Banana Flower Prawn Paturi Recipe

  • STEP 1.First finely paste the prawn & coconut
  • STEP 2.Then half boil the chopped plantain flower
  • STEP 3.Take a bowl and mic the chopped half boiled plantain flower and the crawn and coconut paste & chilli paste mustard oil turmeric powder and mix it well
  • STEP 4.Take 1 piecenof banana leave and put a handful of the mixture in the shape a square and then wrap it with the banana leaf and bind it with a thead well so that it doesnt come out
  • STEP 5.Put a pan in gas and now put a bit of oil in low flame and then put the banana leaves containing the mixture on the pan and cover it with a plate and let it cook in low flame
  • STEP 6.Cook both the sides until the leave becomes red for approx 20 minutes and serve it with rice
