Sweet dish from Rajasthan recipe. It is made from doughnuts prepared from all purpose flour. Deep fried and then dipped in chasni. Garnished with cardamom powder.
STEP 1.Take a bowl with half cup water, soak some saffron strings
STEP 2.Now take a pan and boil some water and add some sugar in it, let it oil and then add some saffron strings. Prepare the chashini and let it cool.
STEP 3.Take a cup of ghee and curd, grind them together and tarnsfer them into a bowl.
STEP 4.Add a cup of all purpose flour, mix well and make a dough. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
STEP 5.Add some nutmeg powder and some baking powder. Make pieces of the dough and keep kneeding again. Make small balls and flat the balls.
STEP 6.Make small doughnut shaped pieces.
STEP 7.Take a deep frying pan, and add some doughnut shaped balushahi and fry for 10 minutes.
STEP 8.Wait till it gets crispy and turns light golden in colour.
STEP 9.Strain the balushahi
STEP 10.Strain the balushahi on a plate. Now dip the balushahi in the chasni and let it settle.
