STEP 1.In kadai take bajra powder or soaked bajra for 4 to 5 hours and water.Whisk well so there are no lumps.
STEP 2.now keep on stove and switch on.Keep stirring without leaving to avoid lumps.
STEP 3.Now prepare the syrup:add jaggery and water.Mix well let it melt completely,no need to check for any consistency,Set aside to cool. Keep stirring until it becomes thick and shiny.It will take around 5-7 mins to reach this consistency.
STEP 4.At one stage it will coat the laddle, turn shiny and thick.At this stage strain and add the syrup chopped nuts .Mix well then add cardamom powder.
STEP 5.Mix well.Now add milk and whisk well, if you prefer to make it a bit runny then add little water.
STEP 6.Serve hot or warm.garnish with cashew.
