  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl, combine bajra flour, salt, and water to make a firm dough.
  • STEP 2.Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into balls.
  • STEP 3.Using a rolling pin, flatten each ball into a round rotla, approximately 1/4 inch thick.
  • STEP 4.Heat a tawa or griddle over medium heat and place the rotla on it.
  • STEP 5.Cook for a minute or two until small bubbles appear on the surface, then flip and cook the other side.
  • STEP 6.Apply ghee or oil on both sides and cook until golden brown spots appear.
  • STEP 7.Serve hot with ghee, yogurt, or pickle.
