Ingredients for Asado Negro Recipe

  • 1.80 kilogram EYE OF ROUND ROASTS
  • 0.33 cup VEGETABLE OIL OTHER NEUTRAL OILS WORK AS WELL
  • 1 No.s LARGE WHITE ONION DICED
  • 6 No.s CLOVES GARLIC MINCED
  • 1 No.s GREEN BELL PEPPER STEMMED, SEEDED AND DICED
  • 4 No.s LARGE TOMATOES SEEDED, DICED
  • 1/4 cup WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
  • 2 No.s BAY LEAVES DRIED
  • 1 sprig OREGANO FRESH
  • 1 cup CARROTS DICED
  • 4 tablespoon SALT
  • 2 tablespoon SUGAR
  • 6 No.s HAMBURGER BUNS TOASTED
  • 4 tablespoon BUTTER

Directions: Asado Negro Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1. take a plastic bag and add meat worcestershire sauce, garlic salt and pepper in it.

  • STEP 1. refrigerate it overnight.

step 3

  • STEP 1. heat some oil in a pan and add sugar to it.

step 4

  • STEP 1. cook until the sugar dissolves and its color changer to golden brown.

step 5

  • STEP 1. add meat to the pan and cook it well from both the sides.

step 6

  • STEP 1.add the meat marinade to the pan and simmer for 15 minutes.

step 7

  • STEP 1. add water to the pan, let it boil and then lower the flame and cook for another 10 minutes.

step 8

  • STEP 1.add in the chopped vegetables, beef, oregano, bay leaves, beef stock and cook at low flame for around 3 hours.

step 9

  • STEP 1. once cooked, blend everything in a food processor and strain the puree.

step 10

  • STEP 1. serve the puree with cooked meat and enjoy!
