  • 1/4 cup Yogurt
  • 1/2 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder

  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds

  • 1/2 Tomatoes, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 0.06 teaspoon Naag Kesar
  • 1/2 tablespoon Fresh Cream

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, marinate the chicken pieces with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon stick, and bay leaf. Saute until fragrant.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and cook until golden brown. Then, add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
  • STEP 4.Add the marinated chicken along with the marinade. Cook on medium heat until the chicken is cooked through.
  • STEP 5.Add garam masala, naag kesar, and fresh cream. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan bread.

Cooking Tips

  • Make sure to marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.
  • If you don't have naag kesar, you can substitute it with saffron strands.
  • Adjust the spice levels according to your preference by adding more or less red chili powder.
  • For a healthier version, you can use Greek yogurt instead of regular yogurt.
  • To make the dish more creamy, you can add a tablespoon of cashew paste.
