My favourite American Chop Suey is a very delicious dish, loved by all. This dish contains deep fried crunchy noodles and a very delicious thick sauce full of vegetables.The sweet and tangy taste of this dish , i like the most.

Ingredients for American Chop Suey Recipe

  • 1/2 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic chopped
  • 0.06 cup Capsicum strips
  • 0.06 cup Red bell pepper
  • 0.06 cup Yellow bell pepper
  • 3/4 pieces Baby corn
  • 0.06 cup Cabbage shredded
  • 1/4 tbsp Soya sauce
  • 0.13 cup Tomato ketchup
  • 0.06 cup Red chilli sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sugar
  • as required Salt
  • 3/4 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup Boiled noodles
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 tbsp Cornstarch
  • as required water

Directions: American Chop Suey Recipe

  • STEP 1.Process for fried noodles
  • STEP 2.In a bowl add boiled noodles, salt, cornstarch and mix properly
  • STEP 3.Now heat oil in a wok in high flame 🔥.
  • STEP 4.Deep fry these noodles in very hot oil untill golden brown in colour.
  • STEP 5.Keep aside for further use.
  • STEP 6.For American Chop Suey
  • STEP 7.In a wok , heat oil.Add chopped garlic, saute it for half a minute.Now add capsicum strips, red bell pepper strips, yellow bell pepper strips, diagonally cut baby corns, 🥕 carrot strips .Saute for a minute on high flame 🔥.
  • STEP 8.Now add soya sauce, red chilli sauce, black pepper powder, sugar , tomato ketchup.Mix everything very well.Now add some water.Wait for a boil, add cornstarch slurry to it.
  • STEP 9.Cook for a minute.
  • STEP 10.Switch off the flame.
  • STEP 11.How to serve
  • STEP 12.Serve hot on a round plate by placing the fried noodles first and then pour the sauce on it and garnish it with spring onion green .
