  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/2 cup Grated Coconut
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 2.50 En Chilies
  • piece A Small Piece Of Tamarind

Directions: Amaranth Leaves Sasive Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash the amaranth leaves thoroughly and chop them finely.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped amaranth leaves, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook until the leaves are wilted.
  • STEP 4.In a blender, grind coconut, mustard seeds, green chilies, and tamarind to a smooth paste.
  • STEP 5.Add the coconut paste to the cooked amaranth leaves and mix well. Cook for a few more minutes.
  • STEP 6.Serve hot with rice or roti.
