Ingredients for Achari Mushroom Recipe

  • 200 gram Mushroom
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  • 0.33 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper powder
  • 0.33 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mixed pickle
  • 2 tablespoon Cooking Oil
  • As required Spring onion or coriander leaves

Directions: Achari Mushroom Recipe

  • STEP 1.Start by washing the mushroom (if you want you can remove the outer layer as well). Dice the mushroom.

  • STEP 2.Chop the onions, tomato, and make a paste of ginger-garlic.

step 3

  • STEP 3.Chop the spring onion and coriander leaves.

step 4

  • STEP 4.Take a kadai to add 3-4tbsp cooking oil.

step 5

  • STEP 5.Add ½ tsp cumin seed and fry it. Then add the chopped onions and saute them for 3-4mins.

  • STEP 6.Once it’s little brown then add ½ tsp ginger-garlic paste and saute then till their raw smell goes.

  • STEP 7.Now add the chopped tomatoes and give them a good mix.

  • STEP 8.Add salt to taste and mix all of them well.

  • STEP 9.Sprinkle some water and again mix it.

  • STEP 10.Time to add the spices- ⅓ tsp turmeric powder, red chili powder -1/2 tsp, cumin powder - ½ tsp, coriander powder - ½ tsp, black pepper powder- 1/4 tsp, and ⅓ tsp garam masala.

  • STEP 11.Mix the spices well with the curry.

  • STEP 12.Cover it with a lid and let it cook for 2mins at low flame.

  • STEP 13.Now add the mushrooms and mix it with the masala.

  • STEP 14.Again cover it with the lid and let it cook for another 8-10mins.

  • STEP 15.Now uncover it and add ½ tsp mixed pickles, give it mix and let it cook for 3-4mins covering it with the lid.

  • STEP 16.Garnish it with spring onions or coriander leaves.

step 17

  • STEP 17.Serve it with roti or rice.
