Ingredients for ACHARI KALACHANA PULAO Recipe

  • 1/2 Cup Basmati rice
  • 1/4 Cup boiled black gram
  • 0.38 Cup Red chilly pickles
  • 1/2 Tsp Crushed ginger
  • 1/2 Inch Cinnamon
  • 1.50 Pieces Black pepper corns
  • 1.50 Pieces Cloves
  • 1/2 Pieces Black cardamom
  • 1 Pieces reen cardamom
  • 0.13 Tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1.50 Tbsp Clarified butter
  • 0.13 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 Tbsp Curd
  • To Taste Salt

Directions: Achari Kalachana Pulao Recipe

  • STEP 1.Boil the black gram with two cup of water in a pressure cooker for five mins.
  • STEP 2.Once cooled reserve the water of boiled black gram.
  • STEP 3.Wash the basmati rice and spread on the plate for half an hour
  • STEP 4.Heat clarified butter in a pan,add whole garam masala to crackle..
  • STEP 5.Now add boiled black gram and curd and mix well,add reserve water of black gram and cook for 4 - 5 mins in a medium flame,
  • STEP 6.Add red chilly pickles and mix it well.
  • STEP 7.Add rice and salt and mix well add rice and salt and three cup of water and cover the lid.
  • STEP 8.Once boiled now simmer the flame for ten mins.
  • STEP 9.Achari black gram pulao is ready to serve
  • STEP 10.Serve hot.
