Ingredients for Aata re chakki Recipe

  • 50 gram Wheat flour
  • 1/2 g oil to make gravy
  • 1/2 Cups Oil to deep fry wadi
  • to taste Salt
  • a pinch of heeng
  • 0.13 tsp jeera
  • 0.13 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp Kasoori methi
  • 1/2 Pieces Cloves
  • 1/4 inch Cinnamon stick
  • 1 g 4..5 g
  • 1/4 Pieces Onion
  • 1/4 Cups Curd

Directions: Aata Re Chakki Recipe

  • STEP 1.Knead the flour by adding little bit salt like that of chapati
  • STEP 2.Keep for rest for an hour .
  • STEP 3.Now wash the dough in water 4...5 times ,water will become milky
  • STEP 4.Throw away this water and the final product left is like elastic paneer which is chakki .
  • STEP 5.Add some more salt ,red chilli powder,pinch of turmeric powder and kasoori methi in it.
  • STEP 6.Boil half pan water adding black pepper corns , cloves and cinnamon stick
  • STEP 7.Add aata re Chakki in it in small pieces and boil for 6..7 minutes
  • STEP 8.It will become spongy and fluffy .
  • STEP 9.Now cut into roundals and deep fry in mustard oil till golden .
  • STEP 10.Now heat oil in another pan for gravy
  • STEP 11.add heeng,jeera and crushed ginger ,garlic and chopped onions
  • STEP 12.Fry well
  • STEP 13.Now add diluted curd and more water
  • STEP 14.Add salt ,pepper powder and turmeric powder
  • STEP 15.Add fried wadiya
  • STEP 16.Cook for 3..4 minutes covered with a lid
  • STEP 17.Turn off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves and serve with tikkad
