  • 1/4 cup Split Red Lentils
  • 1/4 Raw Mango, Peeled And Chopped
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil

  • STEP 1.Wash the lentils thoroughly and soak them in water for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.In a pressure cooker, add the soaked lentils, chopped raw mango, turmeric powder, salt, and water. Cook for 3-4 whistles or until the lentils are soft.
  • STEP 3.In a separate pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds and dried red chilies. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 4.Add the cooked lentils to the pan and mix well. Cook for a few minutes until the flavors are well combined.
  • STEP 5.Serve hot with steamed rice and a side of fried vegetables or fish.
