Ingredients for Aalu ka Achaar Recipe

  • 1.50 Pieces Medium sized boiled potatoes
  • 1/2 Pieces cucumber
  • 1/2 Pieces carrot
  • 1.50 Tbsp sesame powder (the seeds has to be roasted)
  • 1 Pieces Juice of
  • 1/4 Tsp turmeric power
  • 1/4 Tsp chilly powder
  • 1/4 Tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 0.17 Cup Mustard oil
  • As Required Salt as per taste
  • 1 Pieces Green chilly

Directions: Aalu Ka Achaar Recipe

  • STEP 1.Thinly slice the cucumber and carrot, add salt and let it rest for at least 2 hrs.
  • STEP 2.Chop the potatoes and place it in a bowl. Strain the water from the cucumber carrot mix and add it to the bowl. Now add the chilly powder, salt, turmeric powder, green chillies. In a pan heat the oil and add the fenugreek seeds. Let it crackle.
  • STEP 3.Now add the oil to the potatoes and cover the bowl. Let it rest for 2-3 mins.
  • STEP 4.Mix everything nicely and add the lemon juice at the end. Give it a good mix again and the achar is ready.
