1.50 Tbsp sesame powder (the seeds has to be roasted)
1 Pieces Juice of
1/4 Tsp turmeric power
1/4 Tsp chilly powder
1/4 Tsp fenugreek seeds
0.17 Cup Mustard oil
As Required Salt as per taste
1 Pieces Green chilly
Directions: Aalu Ka Achaar Recipe
STEP 1.Thinly slice the cucumber and carrot, add salt and let it rest for at least 2 hrs.
STEP 2.Chop the potatoes and place it in a bowl. Strain the water from the cucumber carrot mix and add it to the bowl. Now add the chilly powder, salt, turmeric powder, green chillies. In a pan heat the oil and add the fenugreek seeds. Let it crackle.
STEP 3.Now add the oil to the potatoes and cover the bowl. Let it rest for 2-3 mins.
STEP 4.Mix everything nicely and add the lemon juice at the end. Give it a good mix again and the achar is ready.
