  • 0.67 cup Heavy cream, can use lighter cream, but soup will be less thick
  • 2 teaspoon Kosher salt, plus more as needed
  • 1/4 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper, plus more as needed
  • 0.12 teaspoon Crushed red pepper flakes, omit if you don't want any heat
  • 1/4 teaspoon Celery seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 4-6 Slices crusty bread
  • 1/2 cup Goat cheese, crumbled
  • 2 teaspoon Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Thyme
  • As required Salt and freshly ground pepper
