Ingredients for Matar Paneer Recipe

  • 0.40 cups Peas
  • 1/5 cup Onion
  • 0.30 cups Tomatoes
  • 1/5 g Piece ginger
  • 0.40 g reen chilies
  • as required Oil
  • 1/5 teaspoon Cumin
  • 0.40 tsp Coriander powder
  • 0.40 tsp Saunf
  • 0.40 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1/10 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/5 inch Pinch asafoetida
  • 0.40 Pieces Bay leaves
  • 1/10 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/5 teaspoon chickpea masala
  • 1/5 tsp Kasoori methi
  • 0.60 tbsp Mawa
  • to taste Salt
  • 40 grams Paneer
  • 1/5 tsp Curd
  • to taste Cheese
  • 0.60 tsp Ghee
  • 0.40 tsp Butter

Directions: Matar Paneer Recipe

  • STEP 1.Take bile peas.
  • STEP 2.Chopped tomato and onion is ready.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and fry till light golden color. Fry tomato slices, green chilies.
  • STEP 4.Prepare a paste of tomato, onion, ginger, green chili.
  • STEP 5.Fry paneer in oil.
  • STEP 6.Heat oil, ghee in a pan and add bay leaves, cumin, fennel, red chili powder, coriander powder, asafoetida.
  • STEP 7.Add tomato paste and fry on low flame. Add kasoori methi and mix the butter.
  • STEP 8.Prepare gravy by mixing mawa, curd and salt as per taste.
  • STEP 9.In the gravy, add boiled green peas, garam masala, chickpea masala and water as required.
  • STEP 10.Garnish matar paneer with cheese, coriander leaves. Serve matar paneer with rice, naan, paratha.
  • STEP 11.It pairs up with roti, paratha,phulka, jeera rice, basmati rice etc.
