World Food India 2024 Gets Its Own Mobile App Ahead Of September Event

Ahead of the third edition of the World Food India 2024 event in September this year, the Union Minister of Food Processing Industries, Chirag Paswan and Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Railways, Ravneet Singh launched a website and mobile application. Touted as the largest food event across the globe, World Food India aims to bring together various stakeholders in the food processing industry closer by offering them an opportunity to network and explore potential business collaborations.

Scheduled to take place from September 19-22 in Delhi’s Pragati Maidan this year, the edition has been projected to be a continuation of the previous year’s event which was a resounding success. With 1,208 exhibitors, 715 international buyers from 90 countries, 24 states and 75,000 attendees participating in the event of 2023, other features also included panel discussions, exhibitions, roundtable discussions and thematic sessions amongst policymakers, investors and global organisations.

The event this year will also have a dedicated food street – which will be a curated arena showcasing the best of India’s diverse offerings as well as fusion elements inspired by global cuisines. Additionally, awards will also be presented to change-makers and those who have made an impact within the space as a way of acknowledging efforts made by innovators, small scale entrepreneurs and start-ups that have reinvented within the spectrum of food processing. With the International Year of Millets being the resounding theme last year, what will be highlighted this time around remains to be seen. Watch this space for more updates.
