Recently, she took to her Instagram stories to share her home remedy for curing the flu. She posted a picture of herself with an angry face and a cup of kadha in her hand. On this, she wrote, "Main kadha peeke flu ko bhagaati hoon, Aap log bhaag ke meri movie dekhne jao."

In a very clever way to give out her desi nuska for curing her flu and promoting her film, Shraddha manages to give us some gyaan (knowledge) as well as tempt us to watch her movie in the theatres by attaching a link to the tickets on the story. Given the current health situation, influenza is on the rise, and with symptoms similar to COVID, like cough, cold, fever, and body ache, similar treatments and medications are being suggested.

In order to boost immunity, kadha is an age-old remedy from the desi kitchens, where a concoction of ginger, clove, basil leaves, black pepper, and honey is prepared in warm water and slowly sipped. This helps to prevent infections as well as soothe the throat in the case of a cough or cold.
