While haldi has natural antibacterial properties and has been used as antiseptic since time immemorial, mint on the other hand, promotes digestion and boosts metabolism to help in losing weight. Besides, several studies have shown that a compound in turmeric called curcumin may help in weight loss.

How To Make Turmeric Mint Tea  

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup water 
  • 1 tsp haldi 
  • Handful of mint leaves 
  • 1 tsp honey  

Method 

  • To make this tea, first boil water in a saucepan. Once it boils, add haldi and a few mint leaves to it.  
  • Switch off the flame and close the lid. Let it steep for 4-5 minutes.  
  • Strain in a cup, add honey and serve warm.
