Diljit Dosanjh is back with yet another hilarious cooking reel albeit this time, he is not very happy with the results. Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh, who was last seen in the Punjabi blockbuster ‘Honsla Rakh’, is a sensation on social media, and we particularly dig his cookout sessions that are often accompanied by his funny commentary and antics. A week ago, the ‘Udta Punjab’ actor cooked Masala Paneer (dry), with his friends. After cartwheeling and dancing, the paneer came out looking super tempting. However, the same cannot be said for the cake that Dosanjh attempted to make in the same pan. That’s right, Diljit tried making a chocolate and banana cake without an oven, and the results may not have been as phenomenal, but it did make for an entertaining watch.
With the same crew, Dosanjh, can be seen having a gala time making this cake, for which he first combines the wet ingredients. Then he proceeds towards his dry ingredients and mixes cocoa powder with flour and with the help of a sieve pours the milk into the dry mixture to make a smooth batter as his friend chops up the almonds like a pro. He then brings in the bananas and directs his friend to slice them nicely. The bananas are then left to caramelise on the pan, on top of which Dosanjh adds the smooth chocolate batter. Then along with his friend, he comes dancing in, to put the lid on the pan. When the cake is ready it is demoulded on a plate, but unfortunately, the cake comes out super flat, much to the amusement of Dosanjh’s other friends who have a good laugh at the expense of the cake. Dosanjh then inverts the cake and looks happy with the result. Further, he cuts the cakes and is adamant to share it with his friends, and ensues is a hilarious finale to this epic reel. "Asi Kalla Cake Banauna Ni Jande.. Khalauna V Jaande An ..#diljitdosanjh #Reel #cake #fail”(Not only do I know how to make a cake, but also how to feed it to others), Diljit wrote in the caption.
The reel has clocked more than 1.9 million views within a day, and fans seemed to be really impressed by the earnest attempt. “Made my day”, commented a fan, “but phir v bhut sona lag reha va gud job (but it still looks very nice, good job”, wrote another user, “Cutest cheffffff”, read another fan comment.
