How To Make Candied Almonds?

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup whole almonds
  2. 1 cup granulated sugar
  3. 1 egg white
  4. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  5. 1 teaspoon salt
  6. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Take a large tray and line it with a baking sheet.
  2. Spread the almonds on the baking sheet.
  3. Then, separate an egg white and whisk it till it’s foamy and then add vanilla extract.
  4. Add the almonds to the egg mixture and coat each one of them.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix sugar, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  6. Add the sugar mixture to the coated almonds and coat them evenly.
  7. After coating the almonds, spread them on the baking sheet and bake for about half an hour.
  8. Let the candied almonds cool till the crust is hardened.
  9. Now, you can eat a few and store the rest in an airtight jar.
  10. You can take them to work, pack them for your kids, and even add them to your desserts to give a sweet crunch.

Tips To Make Perfect Candied Almonds

  1. While you are coating the almonds, make sure that you’re handling them gently to avoid them from splitting into pieces.
