Peppers are some of the healthiest things you can add to your diet. They are rich in vitamins A and C, which support immune health and skin vitality. The vibrant colours of bell peppers—red, orange, and yellow—indicate high antioxidant content, helping reduce inflammation and oxidative stress in the body.
Peppers also provide fibre, aiding digestion and promoting gut health. Capsaicin, the compound responsible for the heat in spicy peppers, is known for boosting metabolism and may aid in weight management. But do you know how many varieties of peppers exist in the world?
A vlogger who goes by the handle @plantedinthegarden, and is known for their farm-focused content recently shared a video which showcases several different varieties of peppers; the video featured more than 30 types of peppers, all of which were grown in their home garden.
Some of them included names such as Buena Mulata (Hot), Aji Challuaruro (Medium), Pinot Noir Bell (Sweet), Hungarian Yellow (sweet-mild), Corno Di Toro Chocolate (sweet), Rezha Macedonian (Medium), Buena Mulata (Hot) and more.
The video which has acquired more than 65K likes, has impressed the Internet especially since they were all grown on the same farm.
"These are so varied ..did you ever imagine how many varieties you would grow when you started your gardening journey? Fantastic Marv & Char!!" a follower commented on the post. "Amazing collection of pepper variety you got there," wrote another.
"Beautiful variety of peppers!!! All home grown too! I love how you showed them off too. I couldn't help but think, these would make gorgeous stock photos," another netizen commented.
