A video was posted on January 21, 2024, and it has been going viral since then. It featured Sonu Dhaba in Sector 22 B, Chandigarh, which serves comfort meals for less than Rs 100. Who would not like their hunger satiated without cutting a hole in their pockets?

Rajan Kumar is the owner of this eatery which was started by his father 35 years ago. The video shows people lining up to get their orders quickly served in reusable steel plates. Surrounded by assistance, Rajan seems busy catering to customers, all placing their orders simultaneously.

Sonu Dhaba Menu

This roadside stall has everything you can ask for. The steel containers are filled with kadhi, Manchurian, rajma, matar-paneer curry, chole, rice, aloo gobhi, boondi raita, and whatnot. You can order a mixed plate in which steamed rice or pulao is topped with rajma, kadhi, manchurian, and matar paneer gravy. Rajan Kumar would also add spicy green chutney and sliced onions on the side. This plate only costs Rs 50.

You would have never found a unique combination like this. You must have eaten manchurian-rice and rajma-rice separately, but eating them together is a one-of-a-kind blend. Rajan Kumar has been selling this lips-smacking mixture for more than 15 years now.

If you order samosa here, the snack does not come only with tamarind and green chutneys. It is served with chana gravy loaded with spices and flavours. If you are a true fan of Punjabi cuisine, you cannot keep yourself from ordering hot chole-bhature at Sonu Dhaba.

Apart from this customers can order a complete meal with tandoori roti, rice, and matar-paneer. The thali is assorted with boondi raita, fried green chillies, and sliced onions topped with green chutney. The best part about this Rs 70 thali is you can ask for a refill as many times as you want. Sonu Dhaba opens at 8.00 am and closes at 8.00 pm. You can come here for breakfast, brunch, lunch, snacks, and dinner because it is definitely a one-stop solution to all your cravings.
