Ever imagined enjoying a freshly cooked meal 18,000 feet above sea level? Well, Aparshakti Khurana did, all thanks to a new reality show – Star Vs. Food Survival – hosted by Ranveer Brar. The show focusses on taking celebrities out into the wilderness and tackle through the obstacles as they navigate through the landscapes and embark on a culinary journey. The star-studded cast is led by Brar on an adventure through two completely diverse geographies of Coorg and Spiti Valley.
In the episode starring Aparshakti Khurana, Brar is seen preparing a chicken delicacy, which the actor seemed to enjoy by ‘showing true Punjabi’s love for chicken’, according to the chef. Some of the featured stars also include Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy, Suneil Shetty and Nakuul Mehta, who accompany the chef on this roller-coaster culinary experience. About his experience of filming the show, Brar said that it was an interesting mix of challenges combined with cooking, conversations and difficult terrains.

He also mentioned that the duration of shooting the episodes was physically tiring yet invigorating, as the show is meant to be very stimulating. As part of the memorable anecdotes he shared with relation to the show, Ranveer’s top picks were his conversations with Nakuul Mehta, extempore poetry sessions on set and cooking for Aparshakti Khurana, a whopping 18,000 feet above sea level. Star Vs. Food Survival promises an intriguing culinary journey that illustrates the stories and flavours behind each of the showcased dishes, with a side of adrenaline!
