It's no secret that clubbing has become more expensive; everything from the cocktails to the snacks and the service charges have gone up exponentially in the last few years. A recent viral Reddit post sheds light on exactly how expensive pubbing has gotten in the last few years.

The Reddit post showcasing a restaurant bill from 2007 ignited discussions about the steep rise in food and drink prices over the years. The bill, from a restaurant named "The Supper Factory," listed ten items with prices starting as low as ₹180, totaling ₹2,522. The post, shared by a Reddit user with the handle @r/delhi, prompted a flurry of reactions online.

The caption accompanying the post read, Found 2 bills from 2007 bar visits in Delhi. Man, I can't believe prices of food and alcohol have jumped up so much since then.”

While most followers experienced a wave of nostalgia at the post, several netizens pointed out that Rs 2,522 in 2007 wasn't exactly very cheap. One user remarked, “18 saal pehle 2500 were not that much pocket-friendly bhai." Another added, “2007 feels like just 7-8 years ago to me, not 17 years!”
