Thiruvananthapuram’s MP Shashi Tharoor has caught the media for more than one reason. Be it the political controversies or his subtle demeanour, one thing that cannot be missed out is his strong command over the English language and most importantly, impressive vocabulary. We hadn’t even gotten over the “exasperating farrago…..” language bomb that he dropped on us and now there’s another mind-boggling tweet to read.
Recently, the witty leader shared a detailed and must we say, extraordinary description of a recipe of something as simple as bhelpuri. His tweet read, “As received on @WhatsApp. Good for weekend consumption!”. The recipe description starts with the ingredients of this “puffed wild rice” that can be a spicy affair with the addition of the fiery Bhoot Jholakia. Seems like this description would scare rather than tempt the eaters.
Twitter users have not been far behind in lending amusing reactions. Some are requesting him to describe food items like golgappe and poha, hoping for a witty response while some others like @stylistanu tried guessing the writer of the recipe, stating, “Wish to know who is the original writer of the recipe? I Am sure a seasoned chef. But who”.
