It goes without saying that a trip to Punjab will not be complete without having a large glass of lassi! Following the tradition, the actors of Bad Newz indulged in lassi along with an authentic and elaborate Punjabi meal. The Bollywood celebrity, Vicky Kaushal, shared a post on Instagram with Ammy Virk and Triptii Dimri, enjoying the frothy Punjabi drink in classic steel glasses.
In another Instagram story shared by Vicky Kaushal, you can spot the cast of the upcoming movie relishing authentic Punjabi delicacies. On their table, you can spot a platter of salad, and just like a serving at every Punjabi dhaba, it contains chopped cucumber, carrot, and radish. Just beside the salad, there’s a plate filled with freshly chopped onion, without which any Punjabi meal is incomplete.
In the Instagram story, Vicky Kaushal seems to take a bit out of classic spiced naan. The curry bowls on the table feature generous portions of dal Makani topped with spirals of heavy cream, paneer masala, which is typically made with mixed vegetables simmered in a tomato-based gravy and a blend of spices, and finally, a bowl of dahi (curd). You can also spot the glasses of lassi beside each actor while they devour the Punjabi food, making their promotions in Chandigarh memorable and delicious.
