The rate at which artificial intelligence or AI is progressing around the world today proves that this one innovation has the capacity to revolutionise every sector and industry in the world. From content creation to image and design generation, AI is slowly being enabled to do it all. And now, a UK-based startup has created an AI innovation that can help chefs, cooks and foodies around the world cook up grilled dishes to perfection.
The UK-based startup Seergrills has launched a device called Perfecta, which—the company claims—is not only the first AI-powered grill in the world but also the fastest. Seergrills says that Perfect is an automatic AI-powered grill that can create perfectly cooked grill dishes within three minutes. Since the grill is AI-powered, all you need to do is give the device your commands and the cooking will automatically be done as per your requirements.

"Tell Perfecta what you want and how you want it, and enjoy a perfectly cooked meal in minutes," explains the official site for Seergrills. Designed by Suraj Sudera, the founder of Seergrills, the device is already making waves around the world. "We noticed there is often difficulty and inconsistency in cooking food - it's mostly always overcooked and dry, taking a long time," Suraj Sudera, who is an engineering graduate from Aston University, Birmingham, said in an interview.
He also revealed that Perfecta is equipped with NeuralFire technology, which has dual vertical infrared burners that can grill food at a maximum temperature of 1652 degrees Fahrenheit. Working based on AI algorithms and smart sensors, this device cooks foods vertically and not horizontally. The users had to choose the grill settings as per the cut, cook, sear, etc levels through a touchscreen digital interface. Then, the device will take over the cooking process completely.
Sudera also revealed that apart from grilled food, the AI-powered Perfecta can also cook burgers, chicken, fish and even pizzas, all under three minutes. The current cost of this AI-powered device is a whopping $3,500, which comes to about Rs. 2.9 lakhs. Given the fact that modern kitchens are quickly becoming digitally empowered, the idea that this and other AI-powered devices will revolutionise the world of food and cooking is quite likely.
