Health benefits of this brownie
Chickpeas and peanut butter as core ingredients are an excellent choice as they pack a solid nutritious punch. Chickpeas are a rich source of protein, vitamins, minerals and fiber, and helps with weight management and digestion. On the other hand, Peanut butter is full of protein, magnesium, and fiber, which can help reduce the body’s fat content, blood pressure, and improve heart health.
Yasmin also uses dark chocolate as it is an exceptionally healthy choice to satisfy those dessert cravings. Dark chocolate is loaded with antioxidants, magnesium and iron and supports in lowering inflammation, “bad” LDL cholesterol levels and blood pressure. This delicious treat is also helpful in reducing the risk factors for heart disease.
Replacing sugar with jaggery is also a great tip from Yasmin as jaggery (Gur) provides a variety of health benefits. Jaggery removes toxins from the body, aids digestion, and helps fight cold and cough.
