How To Make Dhaba Style Chicken?
- To begin with, the first step is to marinate the chicken, take a big bowl, add thick curd, red chilli, turmeric, coriander powder, salt, ginger-garlic paste, mustard oil and give it a good mix. Now add chicken pieces and again provide a good combination with your hands. Cover the bowl and keep this aside to marinate for 10-12 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the gravy, make a puree of soaked cashew nuts and tomato puree separately and keep them aside.
- Take deep kadhai, heat oil. Now, add the dry whole garam masalas, such as bay leaves, cloves, black and green cardamom, and black peppercorns. Saute them a little to remove the raw smell.
- Now add chopped onions and saute till they turn slightly pinkish, then add ginger garlic paste and continue to cook on medium flame. Now add the dry spices, red chilli, turmeric, coriander, and garam masala powder.
- Now add green chilli paste and tomato pure, cook till it separates the oil. Add marinated chicken, cook on medium heat, add cashew nuts puree and milk.
- Stir and cover the pan and allow it to cook for 9-10 minutes.
- Add 1-2 cups hot water and salt as per taste and cook until thoroughly cooked.
- Lastly, add thick cream and garnish it with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
