The smell of freshly baked bread taken right out from the oven is enough to lure any soul towards it. There’s nothing as cheerful and joyful as baking. Well, just as one loves baking cakes, brownies, cookies and other pastry items, they definitely would love to know about different styles, ideas and tricks one can use to bake bread as well. Breads are soft, easy to chew and quite tempting to eat. We believe the best part about breads is that they melt easily as soon as you take a bite. Here are two of the best tricks of baking bread:
Tricks-
- Always make sure to knead the dough twice soon after the initial rise in the dough for a fluffier bread.
- Always follow the mentioned time period before and after proofing.
Here’s the recipe if mixed herbs and cheese bread:
Ingredients-
- 2 cup maida ( fine flour)
- 15g dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Salt
- 1 tablespoon Mixed herbs
- 2-3 cubes of Grated cheese
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- Half cup water
Method-
- Take a bowl with ľ cup lukewarm water. Add sugar and yeast, let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
- Now, take another bowl and add fine flour, salt and mixed herbs. Do mix them well.
- After 15 mins when the yeast is active, add in the bowl the above mixture.
- Knead a dough and keep flattening and beating for around 10-15 minutes.
- Keep the dough aside for proofing covered with a roll of cling film.
- After a while when you see an initial rise.Knead out the air.
- Flatten the dough and grease with oil. Add the grated cheese in between, roll and shape into your loaf shape.
- Now take a baking dish and grease it as well, keep the dough inside and also brush the dough with oil.
- Keep aside for proofing again for a few hours till you see the final rise.
- Bake at 150 C degree and keep it for 25 minutes.
