This Quick And Easy Chocolate Ragi Cake Has Our Heart

Aren’t cakes one bakery item that we all immensely drool over? I think the answer is quite obvious to most of us. From children to adults, no one likes to miss out on cakes especially when it comes to trying and eating a freshly baked chocolate cake. While chocolate cakes might be a little unhealthy for us to eat on a daily basis or even occasionally too. Why don't we take time to bake a yummy fluffy-spongy cake that would be just as delicious as a regular chocolate cake? 

  • Half cup ragi flour. 

  • one cup curd. 

  • ¼  cup butter 

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder 

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda 

  •  ½ cup milk 

  • ¼  cup cocoa powder 

  • 3-4 drops of vanilla essence 

  • 1½ cup powdered sugar 

  • Method: 
     

  • Now take a bowl of curd, add butter and powdered sugar in it. Mix and beat well.  

  • Take both the mixtures together in a separate big bowl, add milk to a smooth consistency. 

  • At last, add cocoa powder and vanilla essence, mix them both in the same direction. 

  • After beating the mixture, put it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 35-40 mins. Glaze cake and serve when cool.
