With spacious indoor and outdoor seating, the place seeing cover of 300. The classy, dreamy and elegant decor add to the charm and beauty of the place. The earthy theme of the place can we seen in the carefully crafted interiors. Surely Instagram-worthy, the furniture’s here have been every well incorporated keeping the theme in mind.
Décor-
The place has been designed keeping the harmony of all five elements of nature- fire, water, earth, and air as they interact with the heritage of different countries, Bougie exudes a complete sensory treat, celebrating the senses of touch, vision, taste, sound, and smell all day long. One can see lava-like patterns at the bar, earthy woody feel on the furniture and so on. As you step in the unique drapes handwoven by the artisans of Delhi, mastering the art of Macrame is sure to catch your attention.
The terrace is the high point where the flooring done in terrazzo pattern, handmade by artisans using scratch stone, enhanced by the beauty of the Qutub Minar, towering over the space.
Food
The food in the plate is a fine example of art on a plate. With non-other than Chef Priyam Chatterjee taking charge of the kitchen, you can his reflection the menu that sees exclusive Mediterranean European menu, masterfully curated and decided into ‘All Day At Bougie’, Bougie’s all-day breakfast menu, and ‘Midi Et Soir’, Bougie’s lunch and dinner menu. Chef has , Chef Priyam carefully ensured an influx of organically sourced greens into each dish, offering a tasteful blend of flavour and health with a panache and style that is both new and yet reminiscent.
First on the came Salade Chevre Chaud- glazed salted beetroots, pistachios and vinegar dressing to be followed by Parma with love- aged Parma ham, toasted pine nuts, pine nut oil, tar syrup dressing, and some real juicy and sweet melons. Sipping some of their signature cocktails and soaking in the spring mood, this place absolutely gives a much happy vibe. Next on the menu was Truffle mushroom and grilled cheese that sees mushroom duxelles, Emmental cheese. Keeping the pizza for the next visit I gorged into their Bougie belly that sees woodfire pork belly with some grilled greens pork and onion jus. Also, their Signature Roast Chicken, prepared for 3 days, Cauliflower Roast, Raviolo, Duck sourced directly from the farms, Tuna Tartar, and the in-house gelato is their USP.
The dessert section has been done by Paris my Love which sees some of the iconic Parisian sweet dreams on the menu like Baba Au Rhum, Paris Brest, Eclairs, Crème Brulé Fleur De Orange, Cake Aux Amandes, Tarte Au Citron to name a few.
As you soak yourself sipping some of the signatures and the sunsets with the Qutub at the background the whole experience will stay for long.
