Mira Kapoor garnered limelight after she tied the knot with Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor a few years ago. The young mother of two beautiful kids - Misha and Zain - has managed to ace it in all aspects of her life, over the years. While we bet she is a brilliant mother, she has been quite active on social media too. And the best part about her regular posts is her food, of course.

Mira is a vegetarian and loves trying out new dishes and cuisines while she’s travelling too In fact, she even went on an all-girl trip with her buddies and had a gala time in Dubai, enjoying all the delectable food. This time, she’s trying to make the most of the winter season by enjoying the seasonal delights. Earlier, we saw her digging into Gajar Ka Halwa, and now she has Haak Saag under the radar.

For the unversed, saag is a green leafy vegetable that is mostly consumed during winters. Take sarson ka saag for instance. It is usually paired with Makki Roti, and is a quintessential winter delicacy in Punjab. Similarly, Haak Saag is a Kashmiri winter specialty that Mira is devouring this year. She posted a picture of a bowl full of saag on her Instagram stories and we felt the warmth right through it. A comforting bowl of saag, with red chillies peeking from it looked lip-smacking.

On the caption, she wrote, “Haak saag in bed #winterdelight”. A delicious winter dish from the Kashmiri Pandit cuisine, ‘haak’ refers to leafy greens in the local language and this saag prepared from the collard leaves is commonly eaten during this season. Cooked in mustard oil along with dry red chillies and asafoetida, this is a classic that you cannot miss during winters.
