The airport has a seating capacity of over 3.6 million seats and handles over 37 million passengers annually, making it the busiest airport in Asia by passenger traffic. Some of the restaurants at Delhi airport are:

Bakers Street Café

If you are at Delhi airport and want to grab a bite to eat while sipping some tea or coffee, this European bakery café is the right place for you. We had the Ginger Tea with some Cheesecake. Get your idli and dosa fix while at the airport, courtesy of Carnatic Café. With well-lit interiors and seating reminiscent of Bangalore's old-school cafés, Carnatic Café is sure to make any South Indian feel right at home. We ordered the customary South Indian breakfast beverage, filter coffee with a Kesari Baath. Boy, did we suddenly start feeling homesick! There are plenty of dosas, idlis, and other South Indian staples on the menu too. Zero complaints and total paisa vasool!

If you want to eat something light and sip on some coffee while spending copious amounts of time on your laptop over free Wi-Fi, Starbucks is the place for you. Once we had our laptops all set up, we ordered a Chole Masala Wrap and a Hazelnut Latté each and ended up not even noticing the passage of time before our flight as we were engrossed in our laptops. The frothy and tasty Latté demanded a second order, which we did place, and the wrap was filling and delicious with just the right amount of spice and grease. No complaints here. Starbucks is, well, Starbucks.

Dilli Streat

This restaurant seems to cover most of North and South India's fast food with chaats, dosas, idlis, curries, kebabs, parathas, and biryanis on their menu. We were waiting for a flight to Kolkata when we decided to get something to eat/ drink, and right there was Dilli Streat. We got ourselves a Masala Tea each with Raj Kachori, perfect as a light snack for when flying with a full belly isn't your thing. We would certainly return for the lassis and juices with the Gol Gappa and Mumbai Bhel.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts

When we think of doughnuts, we think Krispy Kreme. The outlet here isn't any different from the ones outside. When we were here the last time, we had tried the Original glazed with Chocolate chip Cookies and ended up going in for second and third helpings. This time, it was the turn of Raspberry Coconut Iced and Red Velvet with a Cold Coffee each. We suddenly felt kind of full, but still craving a doughnut or two, and had half a dozen packed to go.

Wow! Momo

If soft and fluffy momos are what you're looking for  then this is the right place. Serving steamed, fried, and tandoori momos in a variety of flavors like Schezwan, Thai and Mexican, the restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. We ordered the Kala Khatta and Green Apple drinks with a Chocolate Momo Platter. The only complaint we have is the quantity; otherwise, we had a good experience eating here.
