People like me only think of things that aren't aware of Sindhi recipes or don't know how to prepare them. So just like me, if you also like Sindhi cuisine, today we will tell you the recipes of some Sindhi dishes you can easily make at home. So let's know more about them.
SINDHI KADHI
Ingredients
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves - 1 tsp
- Tomato puree – 1 cup
- Gram flour – 1/2 cup
- Fenugreek - 1/2 tsp
- Cauliflower – 2 cup
- Cumin – 1/2 spoon
- Salt – as per taste
- Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
- Tamarind – 20 g
- Curry leaves – 6
- Curd – 2 cup
- Oil - 1/2 cup
- Potato – 1
- Bhindi-3
- Arbi – 2
How to make Sindhi kadhi?
- Firstly, in a pan, heat oil and fry the gram flour; after adding fenugreek seeds, fry it well.
- After about 4 to 5 minutes, add water and chopped potatoes. After some time, add salt, turmeric, tomato puree and leave it to cook well.
- Take another pan, heat oil and fry all the vegetables well.
- Now put these vegetables in the boiling kadhi and leave it to cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Switch off the gas after 15 minutes.
- Take a vessel, cook cumin, curry leaves and red chillies in oil to make a sauce and serve it to eat.
DAL PAKWAN
Ingredients
- Chana dal - 1/2 cup boiled
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Cumin Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
- Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - as per taste
- Tamarind - 1/2 tsp
- Amchur - 1/2 tsp
- Ghee -1/2 tsp
- Flour - 1 cup
- Oil - 2 tsp
How to make dal pakwan?
- Firstly, heat oil in a pan, add chana dal, tamarind, red chilli, garam masala, cumin powder, amchur and cook it well.
- Let it cook for at least 7 to 8 minutes. Stir once or twice in between so that it does not burn. After 8 minutes, add salt, light water and cook until thick.
- Take a vessel, add water to the flour, knead it, make a dough, and make roti in ghee.
- After the roti is cooked, take it out on a plate and serve the prepared dal on top of the roti. This will be the best delicious breakfast for you.

SINDHI KOKI
Ingredients
- Green chilli - 2 finely chopped
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Onion - 1 finely chopped
- Salt - according to taste
- Coriander leaves - 2 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
- Kasoori methi - 1 tsp
- Cumin - 1/2 tsp
- Flour - 2 cups
- Ghee - 1 tsp
How to make Sindhi koki?
- First, mix flour, onion, green chilli, coriander leaves, and cumin in a vessel to make koki.
- After mixing it, add turmeric powder, salt, chilli powder, garam masala, and ghee and mix it well with water.
- Be careful and do not put excess water in it. However, if there is more water, you can add extra flour to balance it.
- Now take the dough out of this mixture, make it round, and roll it slightly thick. Next, put ghee in a pan and let it heat up.
- Add the koki in the hot ghee, cook both sides well, and your Sindhi Koki is ready.
