The Delhi-based actor came to Mumbai to become a model at the tender age of 18 and well, as destiny had it, Siddharth Malhotra made it to the movies with Karan Johar’s My Name Is Khan as an assistant director. The actor made his acting debut with Student Of The Year and ever since then, we’ve seen him in several movies. Along with an immense love for movies and acting, Sidharth Malhotra is also a big-time foodie. He has often been seen indulging in his favourite foods like the time he visited Delhi to have the Dilli wali chaat.
Do you remember the time he was shooting in Istanbul? He gorged on this lavish Turkish platter with all kinds of Mediterranean dips. A true Delhiite at heart, Sidharth was recently spotted drinking his favourite drink in the morning. He took to his Instagram stories to share a glimpse of his chai ki kettle and we are loving it. A basic black kettle that reminds us of our ghar wali chai, the kettle is placed on a table and the view outside is amazing. Overlooking a lush green lawn and blue sky, we see this kettle on the table. He adds a sticker to it saying, “Good morning” and it’s all that we needed to get through the rest of the week.
Here’s what we are talking about.
The elaichi that you would usually take out of your biryani and keep aside because that is like an obstacle in your good food is actually a great addition to chai. Also known as cardamom, this ingredient works well in all seasons. Break an elaichi and sprinkle it in the boiling water along with tea leaves. It has a strong fragrance and distinct aroma.
