Sara Ali Khan is one celebrity that many find quite relatable. Be it her fashion game, her vacation pictures or her hilarious poems, the Bollywood star keeps her fans and followers updated and entertained on social media. But most of all, it’s the foodie in her that we absolutely love.
Sara is a self-confessed foodie and loves to share snippets of her food shenanigans on social media every now and then. Whether it’s her vacation grub, weekend binge, or simple homemade meals, the actor never shies away from showing off her foodie side. While her envious physique might make you think the opposite, it seems like the Kedarnath actor balances it well.
In her latest update, Sara was seen having a late birthday celebration with her friends at a café in Mumbai. The actor was in New York this year for her birthday, which falls on August 12, and so she couldn’t ring it with her Mumbai pals. It seems like now that Sara’s back, they planned a small yet adorable celebration for her, and she did not forget to share glimpses of the same with her fans on social media. She took to her Instagram stories to share a couple of pictures from the celebration that took place at Farmers Café. Take a look:
In the pictures, we could see a plateful of different cake slices - a rich and moist chocolate cake, another chocolate cake topped with nuts, and one that looked like an almond cake. The cake slices were topped with a chocolate wafer that said ‘Belated Happy Birthday’.
It seems like Sara’s celebration had its own share of healthy treats as we could see another plate with a smoothie bowl. Topped with bananas, nuts, and seeds, the bowl looked delicious and wholesome. It came with two small bowls, each with a scoop of ice cream. Sara added a few stickers to her pictures including the ones that said ‘yummy in my tummy’, ‘thank you’, and a ‘happy birthday’ one. Take a look:
The actor sure had a great time as the table looked drool-worthy, packed with some decadent treats. In the second picture, she had her friends posing with her as she tagged the location as ‘my happy place’.
Doesn’t that look like a comforting celebration? Sara’s New York celebration too was quite a foodie affair. Read more about it here. Meanwhile, here’s wishing Sara a food-full year ahead!
