Recipe: Easily distracted by tea? Try this non-dairy iced dirty chai

We don’t know whether it is the romantic monsoon weather outside but tea is to the body what music is to the soul and since we are always easily distracted with creative tea recipes, we decided to whip up some non-dairy iced dirty chai this evening. Call us ‘chai’vinists but we strongly feel that where there is tea, there is hope!

If you too feel that a cup of tea is a cup of peace, check out the tea-rrific recipe below and try your hands on non-dairy iced dirty chai which is made from oatmilk and is not just healthy but also extra creamy, nutritious and delicious. It can be made in a jiffy and serves two.

Ingredients:

1 double shot of espresso

2 chai tea bags

1/3 cup boiling water

1 tsp brown sugar or sweetener of choice

Dash of cinnamon

Original oatmilk

Ice

Star anise and cinnamon sticks to garnish (optional)

Method:

Steep your chai tea in the boiling water for about 5 minutes. Brew your espresso and stir in sweetner and cinnamon.

Pour espresso and chai mixture over ice and top with original oatmilk. Garnish and serve!
