Raw Mango Jelly Recipe To Surprise The Kids

This is the season of mangoes, and it is totally fair to have mangoes in every other dish or dessert we enjoy. Raw mango lends a sweet and sour flavour to the jelly and makes it a perfect sweet for summer. Besides, it is homemade and also has the benefits that raw mangoes carry. Since you know about the benefits of raw mangoes, let us take you through a quick and easy recipe of raw mango jelly to make at home. Believe me, this sweet treat would make your kids happy. Here you go! 

Ingredients 

  • 3 to 4 raw mangoes 
  • 1 cups water 
  • 1 cup sugar 
  • 3 to 4 tsp corn flour 
  • Green edible colour 
  • Pinch of black pepper 

Method 

  • First wash the raw mangoes. Then, peel and cut them into pieces. 
  • Thereafter, take a blender and add raw mango pieces to it. Grind the mangoes finely. 
  • Now, take the mixture and sieve it in a pan. Add a cup of sugar to the mixture.  
  • Shake the solution till the sugar dissolves. Now, take a bowl and add cornflour  add water. Form a mixture. 
  • Heat a pan and stir the raw mango mixture. Make sure that the sugar melts. Also, add an edible green colour. 
  • Slowly, add in the cornflour mixture and carefully mix the slurry. 
  • Now, add black pepper and let the mixture cook for 10 minutes. When the mixture thickens, turn off the flame. 
  • Take a glass bowl and lubricate it with sufficient oil. Add in the slurry and let it cool. 
  • When done, cut it into the desired shape and serve!
