Here is the recipe for rava sheera: 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup semolina (rava/suji)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • A few strands of saffron
  • 2 tbsp chopped nuts (cashews, almonds, and pistachios)
  • 1 tablespoon of raisins

Method 

  • Heat the ghee in a pan on medium heat. 
  • Add the semolina and roast it for 5–7 minutes, stirring continuously, until it turns golden brown and fragrant. 
  • Add the water and milk to the pan and stir well to prevent lumps.
  • Cook on medium heat for about 5–7 minutes, or until the mixture starts to thicken.
  • Add the sugar and mix well until it dissolves.
  • Add the cardamom powder and saffron strands and mix well.
  • Add the chopped nuts and raisins and stir well.
  • Cook for another 2–3 minutes until the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
  • Turn off the heat and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
