No better deal for food enthusiasts than getting to sample some delicious dishes for free! Testament to this, The Rameshwaram Café – a popular eatery from Bengaluru serving up some of the best dosas – has decided to open its doors for people in Hyderabad on January 19. Preceding to its official launch, buzz about the café conducting free food trials between the dates of January 14-16 attracted a footfall that was significant, eventually packing the place with curious foodies.
The acclaimed restaurant – whose specialities include benne masala dosa, ghee podi idli and filter coffee – is all set to welcome diners in Madhapur at its first QSR chain in the city. Known to serve freshly made dishes with high quality ingredients, it has garnered fame amongst many international and national celebrities as the Mecca of vegetarian and vegan South Indian food. Following the success of its four branches across Bengaluru, The Rameshwaram Café invited food bloggers and creators for a tasting of their signature staples.

As crowds continued to stop for a bite, videos showing the place swarming with diners have gone viral on social media. As Hyderabadis wait with anticipation for the inauguration to take place, owners Divya and Raghavendra Rao had also shared their intention to open a chain in Dubai, when the official announcement for the Hyderabad restaurant was made last year. While operations were underway nine months prior to set up the Madhapur chain, the café plans on tweaking the menu slightly to adapt to the palates and preferences of the people, while keeping their essence intact. This will also include amplifying the spice quotient higher than usual, as a way of their recipes being better suited to what diners might enjoy.
